About The Miller Community Center
The Miller Community Center (MCC) is an approximately 1,400 sq. ft. meeting room that is located in our Habitat ReStore and is open for use to the community.
Our Miller Community Center:
- Can adapt to assorted seating arrangements
- Is handicapped accessible and our space includes a handicapped bathroom
- Has access to a kitchen
- Has a generous parking lot with additional handicapped parking
- Has certain audio/visual equipment items, including:
- A television/monitor
- White boards
- Flip charts
We will be offering our regular Habitat Homeownership training classes (finance; first-time homebuyers; home safety) and opening up this training to the public. But, our goal is to do more – we will be offering creative and mind challenging classes and just-for-fun get-togethers. Habitat is hopeful that this Center will help end the isolation and be a community meeting place for like-minded people.
If you are interested in reserving the room for your organization or your group, please call 815-434-2041 and ask to talk to Sally Van Cura.
Please refer to the Reservation Form for additional information.
