Supporting the Habitat Mission

Today, there are over 1,000 Habitat ReStores in six countries providing a large part of the funds needed to continue our mission.  As with other affiliates, we need secure and recurring funding that can come from a Habitat ReStore in order to meet and exceed our service to the community.

We build strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities.

Habitat improves the lives of people by improving their housing stability, which in turn positively impacts their lives, health and education. Habitat also improves communities as a whole by revitalizing neighborhoods, raising property values and increasing the tax base.  A successful capital campaign will provide us with the ability to open our doors which will increase our funding capabilities and increase our positive impacts to our community.

We’ve seen firsthand how homeowners can invest in themselves – many for the first time ever – with each mortgage payment they make. This is how homeownership breaks the cycle of generational poverty for families.

Donations made toward our Habitat ReStore will provide our affiliate with funding revenue that will help us with our Habitat mission and will continue as a funding vehicle for generations to come.
